Homework and Meeting Reminder

Hi all,

The children's homework for this week has gone home in their homework folders. The spellings for this week focus on revising the sounds covered so far. For the reading comprehension, we ask that the children write the answers on the back of the sheet please. Some pupils have been given readers for this week instead of the comprehension. The spellings and reading should be completed each night. The Maths and reading comprehension will be corrected on Friday.

Test copies will be sent home to be signed and returned by Thursday.

A reminder that the second class meeting is on tonight, starting at 7:30. Hope to see you all there.

CareChoice suggestion

Hi all, Recently, we reached out to CareChoice nursing home to see if there was anything we could do to cheer up the residents during this lonely time. They said that the best way to make contact and cheer up the residents at the moment would be to get the children to make a card, draw/paint a picture, make a piece of art etc and get parents to take a picture and email it to them. They also suggested videos of the children singing a song or doing a dance, or Easter cards/art etc , anything to cheer the residents up as they have had a no visitors policy for the last three weeks.   CareChoice said that they will print off the artwork that is sent to them and stick it up around the place for residents to see. Summer! (Claire's Class)

Hi everybody, I hope you all enjoyed seeing each other on the end of year zoom call. The video I had prepared for you all that wouldn't work on the zoom call also won't upload to the blog unfortunately. But we can all watch it together when we are back in school! I have added some photos from the video to the post if you want to have a look at them.
