Spellings for this week
Hi all,
I hope you are keeping well. I know a few of you joined in on Joe Wick's live PE lesson this morning, which is great!
For this week, we ask that the children continue on with their revision work booklets and SESE project. There are other useful resources for PE, mindfulness etc on the blog too!
We would really appreciate if you could practise the following spellings (revision of recent sounds covered in class) with your child this week and test them on Friday. It is encouraged to use the 'look, cover, write, spell, check' method while practising the spellings.

- Geraldine the Giraffe videos on youtube going through the different sounds (oi, oy, ow, or)
- Sound hunt: go around the house/outdoors and find items which include the sounds.
- Dictation: call out sentences, using the spellings for this week. e.g. 'I found a beautiful purple flower amongst the crowd of daffodils.'
- Bingo with the spellings for this week.
If you have any questions/queries, please let us know.
Take care,
Hannah and Claire
